The Sam Pirt Band Play a variety of music from around the world. The line up is Sam Pirt on Accordion & Feet, backed by Fiddle, Guitar and Bass. It is mainly an instrumental line up though songs are included.
It could be said this is a band without boundaries creating a type of folk music for the next generation. The bands repertoire draws on the culture, heritage and tunes from England, Sweden, Ireland, Canada, America, Spain and in doing so mix traditions and styles seamlessly to create a new language of music that is fun, thoughtful and moving. A band NOT to be missed!
